Well, we're less than 12 hours from the new year, and nothing has
happened in those countries that have turned 2000.  Maybe we should call
this the year of the "Big Yawn"?  I would love to see the figures on how
much money was spent by people preparing for the end of time.

The best story so far is about a man in Pennsylvania who stored 1500
gallons of fuel oil to protect himself.  The tanks blew up in a brush
fire.  (No one was injured!)
