A question of blame

I know for me, finding a cause of something like this (I hate the word
blame.), is more to relieve the high frustration level that there is
nothing I can do about it. Makes it a bit more in my control. Becuase if
a cause is identified, then you can use that to actually work on making
sure it doesn't happen again.
There is also the random, chaotic factor, but again, I think that boils
down to control issues. There is something I've seen in many people that
makes them NEED to impose controls on themselves and others. Why that is,
I don't know, but as I look at everything involved in this latest shooting,
from the perps to the victims, to the media, to the wrongly persecuted
geeks, what everyone was getting so uptight about was that life had gotten
out of control.
Just my take on things.
