Alive?

Yep Alive! I was not on the tour bus in New Orleans. actualy about 1
mile away safely on my hotel room at the time.  Drove 10 hours to get
there spent about 10 minutes on Bourbon Street, Slept 5 hours wandered
the french Quarter for about 67 hours and drove back.  It was fun but
don't EVER hit bourbon street the in the morning it's GROSS. Between the
piles of garbage the evil smells and the clean up crew it's best to
avoid it if possible.  Of course being a non drinker that isn't into
Topless/bottomless dancers (of either sex) it wasn't too thrilling the
night before either.It took only 10 minutes to decide there wasn't much
there of interest to me.  Anna however loved the lights and beads but
not the loud noise.  We went the next day and bought her some beads and
sparkles and she was quite happy with the whole trip, 20 hours of
driving and all! Such a great traveling companion.
