<<<<Finally, I don't believe that TV is like a book. More effort goes
into
producing books than TV shows; the stories and characters are much
better.
Books encourage the imagination; TV discourages it. I can go outside on a
nice
day and read a book (or I can go out to a pub or restaurant on a bad day
and
read a book :-).>>>>

So the people acting, directing, producing, writing, etc.......All of
that is effortless, huh? So it is harder to come up with a book, then a
TV show?

Why don't you try to be an actor in a long or short running series. Why
don't you try and come up with a script EVERY WEEK. Why don't you decide
what every set is going to look like and where the actors will stand in
choreographed scenes.

I love books. I cherish them. But I want to be in the entertainment
business. Not for the fame and fortune, because I am well aware that it
may never, EVER come. Not for the Oscars I always get so excited about.
But for the acting, and the writing. I will do both. I'm determined.

TV does not necessarily DISCOURAGE the imagination. I have had hundreds
upon hundreds of ideas thanks to television. I have written Frantic, and
discovered problems in my writing that I have fixed. I learn how to write
with certain characters in mind, I've learned how to scoop out different
attitudes and such.

I'm sorry to take out all of the heat on you, but I'm afraid that
sometimes, you speak without knowing fully what you are saying.
