Hmmm..... I think Harold was talking about the effort it akes to watch T.V,
not to produce it. Even the best of shows don't take much effort to watch,
and follow. Whereas reading, say, one of Holly's books does require that we
do something. (Though the effort she puts into writing them is far greater
then our efforts to read them) I've had serious disagreement with harold on
these threads, but I think he does a very good of explaining why he believes
what he does.

Now, Harold if TV can encourage children to blindly accept what they see,
can we say the same thing about the internet? If we can, is maybe my belief
that it does need some restraints and limitations a valid one? (Or should we
not open this can of worms again?)

And GO AVS!!! All of a sudden, they believe they can win, Hell, even I'm
starting to believe it. Like  the bumper sticker out here says "RED WINGS
SUCK-RED WINGS SUCK!" That feels good, think I'll say it one more time. "RED
WINGS SUCK!"
