A few years back I took a look at my eating habits and decided I
actually had rather healthy habits. Do I eat junk food? Yeah. Do I
eat meat?  You bet.

What don't I eat? Well, I still keep the Kosher law regarding type of
clean animals, and I do keep the law about milk and meat in its
original form; I avoid caffeine in most forms; I don't drink much soda
and refuse utterly to drink diet stuff; I don't touch anything with
Olestra; I get meat from a place I trust almost every time I buy it;
and I am moderately careful about eating out. Nu, I occasionally go
through a big bag of chips or jelly beans.

I am not the health nut that my Dad is - he tells me routinely that I
need to lose weight, especially at the waist (even though it truly is
mostly muscle). Most importantly, I don't tell people to cut stuff
out of their diets except for the very occasional "caffeine is evil"
rant. Everybody is entitled to their own life, I figure, and I ain't
responsible for 'em.
