I've been busy the last couple of days with my children's choir. We
performed in our first Eisteddfod.

(I should explain that I was asked to start this choir nearly four
years ago in order to provide an opportunity to those kids who didn't
pass the audition for the school's *real* choirs - i.e. the
competition choirs. These were the kids who loved to sing but couldn't
consistently hold pitch. The choir has gone from strength to strength
and we've slowly beaten down the perception that these kids are 'the
rejects'.)

On Tuesday the kids sang really well and I was incredibly proud of
them. Yesterday they performed brilliantly and they came third! I'm
still coming down off the ceiling! (Everybody is now looking at these
kids quite differently now!!!! <g>)
