Subject: [Holly-L] set up a sun machine

I just purchased a used Enterprise Ultra 450 sun
server.
I don't know how to set up a console to this sun
server.  Please tell me what cable with what
connectors (how many pin in each connector), what
monitor to connect to the sun server.  There is no
graphic adapter for this sun server.  There are 2
parallel ports.

In IBM AIX, they have smit menu, What about Sun, do I
have to use GUI in Sun or all command line.

Could you please show me how.
I know AIX well but not Solaris.

Umm, just because the list runs on a machine named "solaris", doesn't 
mean it's a list for sun hardware.
Check for a list called "sun-managers", or go to comp.sys.sun.hardware 
on usenet.
